My husband and I feel our son has had an excellent first week. He has come home happy and enthusiastic about his day, enjoying making new friends and the learning at St Margaret Mary’s. The best part of his week has been learning long division which he has demonstrated to us. Thank you to all of you and to Simon and others within the school for your efforts to make him feel welcome and our whole family included in the school community.
The above quote reflected your leadership, which was evident last night. To see the students with additional needs being part of the performance and not being forced to wear costumes that affect their sensory issues was amazing to see. To see my child on stage, who would have thought this was possible 6 months ago! To see her shine, I had tears running down my face. You and your staff need to be congratulated. I am proud to be part of the St Margaret Mary’s community.
